Last week our Managing Director, Paul Cooney, Operations Manager, Gareth Smith and a number of invited clients and contacts travelled to London for the biggest night in the recruitment calendar, the 2021 Recruiter Awards.
Having been over two years since the previous awards evening due to the numerous lockdowns we have all endured during the COVID-19 pandemic, it felt wonderful to return to some normality and enjoy an evening amongst our peers in celebration of recruitment industry achievements of the past year.
This year’s event was extra special, not only due to the fact it was one of our first in-person events in two years, but because we were headline sponsors of the entire evening as well as the sponsor of the Small Recruitment Agency of the Year award.
It was a wonderful chance to showcase the Zodeq brand and also provided some wonderful opportunities to speak to recruiters from across the UK and learn about their business. As you would imagine, we all had a lot to discuss after two years apart!
There were some great contenders in the Small Recruitment Business of the Year award but ultimately Signify Technology, who had gone to great lengths to support the local community during the pandemic, took home the trophy.
We would like to send huge congratulations to Signify and to all the other nominees. The judges commended each and every company on their brilliant success throughout the year, particularly during what has arguably been one of the most difficult periods for the industry in modern history.
We would also like to say a big thank you to those that joined us on the evening and made it a night to remember.
