Zodeq takes on Chester half marathon for The Countess of Chester Hospital

  Published: 21st May 2024

Go team! On Sunday 19th of May, James Turner and Matthew Tosh took on the Essar Chester Half Marathon to raise vital funds for our chosen charity, The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Charitable Funds’ brand new appeal for 2024.

The Retinal Eye Scanner appeal aims to purchase a state-of-the-art retinal imaging machine for the Westminster Eye Clinic, which will aid the speed of eye tests, help with earlier identification and treatment of specific eye conditions, and improve clinic flow.

The team has done fantastically well as in addition to completing all 13.1 miles of the course, they have raised 67% of their total target – with time left to reach 100%!

The team are no strangers to raising money for the Countess. Last year, the Zodeq team proudly came together to support the Countess’ Blue Skies Appeal, raising over £1000 and were presented with a medal to signify their outstanding support.
