We ended our working week in style last Friday as we attended the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Garden Party, at the beautiful Mercure Abbots Well Hotel in Chester.
The Zodeq team were in attendance at this fantastic event, getting into the summer spirit with lawn games throughout the night, including Connect 4, giant noughts and crosses, croquet and hook-a-duck, followed by a delicious BBQ and music.
As the garden party’s sponsor, we are extremely proud to have been a part of this highly successful event, that brought together business professionals from across the region, to network, have fun and enjoy the beautiful summer weather.
The event was hosted in support of the charity Book at Bedtime, an organisation that provides book cases and books to women’s refuge centres throughout the UK, allowing both women and children staying in these refuges to escape from their struggles for a short while with the help of a good book. Guests were invited to bring any pre-loved children’s books that they no longer needed that could then be donated to the charity, as well as any bottles of wine to include in the evening’s Tombola, that was used to raise funds for further books.
